The role

You will be a key member of the R&D Team. The full-time position will be based in our lab in London, UK.

Compensation is highly competitive and will include participation in the company’s share option scheme.

 

Key responsibilities

• Identify and organise all reagents, materials and equipment of the lab in a pragmatic manner

• Implement relevant processes to manage lab inventory, including procurement procedures

• Perform cell culture and related experiments, working closely with team members

• Perform other duties as assigned, including all those associated with facilitating the smooth operation in the lab

• Maintain standards consistent with company culture and values

 

Who you are

​

• BSc or Masters in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry or related field

• Extensive experience in at least one of the following activities:

  • Cell culture of animal cells, including culture media preparation

  • Chemical and biochemical analyses of processes, cells, medium or protein products

  • Implementation of lab management procedures

  • Procurement of reagents, materials and equipment

  • Managed other technicians

Additional requirements:

• Action oriented, results-driven, and able to accomplish project objectives and meet or exceed expectations

• Attention to detail and ability to work both individually and within a multi-disciplinary team

• Exceptional communication, writing, organizational and time management skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
